The China National Light Industry Council has recently released the list of 2012 China's top 100 light industry companies in Beijing. A total of 243 companies have been shortlisted for the top list of China's top 100 light industry companies and five sub-lists. Among them, among the top ten companies in the comprehensive list, there are four household appliance companies on the list, namely, Haier Group, Midea Group Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Gree Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., and Hisense Group Co., Ltd. The "China's Top 100 Light Industry Enterprises" was selected by the China Light Industry Council and is an authoritative list to evaluate the competitiveness of light industry companies. In recent years, the proportion of light industry profits in the national industry has been increasing year by year, reaching about one-fifth of the previous year. Regardless of the number of enterprises or the main business income, the proportion of light industrial enterprises in the national industry is increasing. This shows that under the environment of sluggish manufacturing industry, the transformation and upgrading of light industries have achieved results, and the competitiveness of light industry has increased. In order to further promote the adjustment of light industry structure and industrial upgrading, give play to the demonstration role of key enterprises, and drive and lead the growth of a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises, China Light Industry Association released the list of 2012 China's top 100 light industry companies.
