On July 20, Guanyuan Lane Technology conducted a poll, that is, whether users would continue to pay for Unicom and Telecom's broadband TV (also known as IPTV) under the condition that they already have broadband services at home.
The results of this incomplete poll show that 80% of users will not choose to order.
Under broadband conditions, users can watch live broadcast channels via set-top boxes and smart TVs, and watch live TV channels for free. They can also pay for telecom TVs and Unicom TVs (the two companies also offer discounted fees for bundled services).
As of the morning of July 28, a total of 931 people participated in the polls. Seventy-seven percent of users said they would not order a broadband TV and other users said they would order it.

According to media reports, as of the end of this year, cumulative subscribers for Unicom TV and telecom TV will reach 100 million, which means that these two service providers have already separated 100 million users from traditional cable television.
In addition, in the past two years, the experience of watching live TV on the Internet for free has been greatly enhanced, and Caton has been significantly reduced.
