LED bulb energy efficiency rating

The scientific name of LED bulbs is self-ballasted LED lamps, and its energy efficiency rating has been national standard, that is, "Energy efficiency limit value and energy efficiency rating of non-directional self-ballasted LED lamps for general lighting" GB 30255-2013, its energy efficiency rating is divided into 3 levels. Among them, the highest energy efficiency is level 1, as shown in Table 1.

Initial light effect: ratio of initial luminous flux to actual power, lm/W;

Tone code: color temperature code, that is, 65 is 6500K, 50 is 5000K, 40 is 4000K, 35 is 3500K, 30 is 3000K, 27 is 2700K, P27 is color coordinate close to Planck curve, color temperature 2700K;

Full light distribution: the beam angle is greater than 180°. The light intensity at any angle in the region of 0° to 135° does not exceed 20% of the average light intensity in the entire region; the luminous flux in the region of 135° to 180° is not less than 5% of the total luminous flux.

Semi-distribution: The beam angle is greater than 180°, and the light distribution does not conform to the “full light distribution” type.

Quasi-full light distribution: Non-directional illumination light distribution type with a beam angle of no more than 180°.

From the table, we can see:

1. The light efficiency of a high color temperature bulb is higher than that of a low color temperature, which is about 10% higher;

2. The light efficiency of level 1 is close to 2 times of level 3;

3. The light efficiency of semi-lighting/quasi-complete light distribution is higher than about 15% of full light distribution.
It is recommended to use LED bulbs with high energy efficiency rating. Level 3 is the minimum requirement and must be met. This meter is suitable for LED bulbs with rated power 2W~60W, rated voltage 220V and rated frequency 50Hz.
