Microsoft today announced at GDC that Acer Hybrid Reality Headset will be shipped to developers.

This kit is made up of two parts, one part is HMD hardware and "documents, access Windows 10 Insider preview version, and software development kit (SDK)".

Acer's mixed reality hardware display is an LCD with a single eye resolution of 1440*1440 (706ppi) and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It has a built-in audio output and a 3.5mm microphone jack. You can connect the monitor to the computer via an HDMI 2.0 cable and a USB 3.0 (for data transfer) cable.
These development kits will be rolled out in stages, starting with those who have won the GDC's Windows Mixed Reality Conference "Golden Tickets" and will start shipping later this month.
Microsoft also announced that they plan to provide mixed reality content to the Xbox One series of devices, including the 2018 Project Scorpio. And said that they will share more information at Build 2017.
