World's highest voltage level smart substation is put into operation in northern Shaanxi

This is the 750 kV smart substation operation site of the National Grid Shaanxi on March 1st.

On that day, the State Grid Shaanxi 750kV smart substation was officially put into operation in Luochuan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is understood that this is the world's highest voltage level smart substation, and it is also one of the first four pilot smart substations of the State Grid Corporation of China. The completion of this substation will play an important role in guiding the nation’s smart grid construction. It is of great significance to improve the backbone of 750 kV in Shaanxi and even in the northwest, to meet the large-scale power supply access in northern Shaanxi, and to improve the power transmission capacity.
