Dalianda Holdings, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced that its product has launched the Infineon ICL5101 integrated PFC+LLC LED commercial lighting solution. This solution helps customers further reduce system costs and is designed to meet the needs of commercial lighting applications for high performance, high reliability systems. Typical applications include indoor and outdoor LED lighting, high/low shed lighting, street lighting, parking and ceiling lighting, office lighting, retail and store lighting.
Infineon LED Resonance Controller ICL5101, which is integrated with the company, integrates PFC and LLC: PFC level works in DCM mode and CRCM, which is extremely stable under low load conditions; internal integrated drive can achieve higher Power density; ICL5101 frequency parameters are adjusted by simple resistors, which are more convenient for design calculation and parameter control; support comprehensive protection functions, including short circuit, over voltage, overload, ensure LED driver detects fault conditions, protect LED driver and LED load.

PFC function settings
PFC is working in CRM mode and works in DCM mode in light load mode, ensuring no noise when dimming to 0.1%;

650V half-bridge driver using coreless transformer technology;
Adaptive dead time 500 ns – 1.0 μs;
Adjustable overload, short circuit, open circuit detection;
Capacitive load detection;
