The annual CES (International Consumer Electronics Show) will be held in Las Vegas, USA. This large-scale exhibition has attracted numerous manufacturers and audiences. What are the highlights of this year's CES?
1. Self-driving car
For CES, self-driving cars are not new, and this theme has also appeared in previous conferences. However, today, auto-driving cars still have many technical and legal issues that need to be resolved. There is no doubt that at this year's CES we will again see the self-driving car, and at the same time, CarPlay and Android Auto will be featured in this theme in 2014.
2, there will not be much surprises for mobile phones and tablets
The mobile phone and tablet market in 2014 did not have much highlights. Tablet PC sales continued to decline. It can be foreseen that mobile phone manufacturers will continue to be dimmed at this year's CES. It is reported that HTC will release new products during CES, but HTC did not set up booths at the CES venue. LG relied on curved screens as a bright spot in the past year. It is reported that LG will continue to play this feature this year.
3, wearable devices
Wearables shined in 2014, and giants have also taken part in this hot spot. CCSInsight predicts that this year's smart watch and fitness wristband shipments will exceed 50 million. At CES, the mainstream manufacturers will appear, involving smart glasses, watches, wristbands, health trackers, and so on. Will wearable devices mature in 2015? What new technologies will emerge?
4, fashion brand turned technology brand
This year, CES's CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) invited over 2,000 companies to participate, including traditional fashion brands such as Adidas, New Balance and L'Oréal. Today, these companies urgently need technology to improve and innovate their own products, many of which have already begun to try new projects such as smart clothing. Fashion brands and technology brands are increasingly bridging.
5, smart watch stagnant?
At last year's CES, smartwatches were mostly start-ups such as Pebble and Meta, and just in 2014, Apple released AppleWatch and Google released AndroidWear. The addition of these two giants has made the smart watch field a comeback. Small manufacturers have been hit hard. It is reported that Pebble and Meta will not release new products at this CES.
6, Quantum TV
Every year at CES, the television industry will launch a new technology, such as last year's 4K TV. This year, the protagonist will be the QuantumDot. This technology can have a clearer display effect than 4K. At present, LG and Sony have confirmed that they will exhibit related products at CES.
7, Intel Broadwell is finally ready
Intel released Broadway, a next-generation processor, last year at Computerx. There is no doubt that it will be the most important player in the 2015 PC market and numerous new products will be born. Broadwell will bring two positive meanings. First, it will make the PC more portable, have a longer battery life, and a thinner profile. Intel said its power consumption is reduced by 30%. The second is that Broadwell makes the laptop work without fan, so that PC makers cut down this once important part.
8. Internet of Things Connected to Everything
This year's CES is the most attended event in the Internet of Things. Although the giants have also entered the field, Apple has HomeKit, Google acquired Nest, but the industry still lacks a unified standard and platform.
9. Affordable Virtual Reality Devices
Facebook spent 2 billion U.S. dollars to buy OculusVR in March last year. Facebook believes that virtual reality is another major trend after the mobile wave. However, the cost of virtual reality is still high, which makes its popularity difficult. However, in 2014, Oculus and Samsung jointly launched GearVR, allowing virtual reality to be cheapened in another form. Making the public affordable is one of the problems that virtual reality will solve in 2015. It is reported that Oculus will exhibit new products at CES.
10, double-sided pluggable USB interface
In August this year, the double-sided pluggable USBType-C is ready to start mass production, which means that today's PC and smart phone manufacturers and other equipment manufacturers can support this new standard. The new USB standard is not only pros and cons, but the interface is smaller and can make the device thinner. Currently, at least one vendor has applied this standard. The Nokia N1 Tablet PC is already equipped with USBType-C. At CES, we will see more devices equipped with this standard.
High Voltage Capacitor Charging Power Supplies
High Voltage Capacitor Charging is a mainstream application of high-current high-voltage power supplies. The High-voltage Capacitor Charging power supplies are a kind of high-voltage DC Power Supplies specially designed to meet the requirements of capacitor charging or capacitor conditioning.
At present, iDealTek-Electronics' high-voltage capacitor charging power supplies are IGBT-based switching mode High Voltage Power Supplies. Compared with the traditional linear high-voltage power supplies, the switched-type capacitor charging high-voltage power supplies are featured for higher power density, higher efficiency, higher output response speed and faster protection start and self-recovery speed.
iDealTek-Electronics originally produced linear capacitor charging high-voltage power supplies. Based on years of experience in the capacitor industry, our current capacitor charging high voltage power supplies use 19-inch standard racks, 4U and 6U chassis, which facilitate the installation of integrated capacitor charging systems. The output power ranges from 2KW to 10KW with output voltage levels at 5KV / 10KV / 20KV / 30KV / 35KV / 40KV / 50KV / 60KV / 100KV with a complete protection function, which can deal with overvoltage, overcurrent, load discharge and other situations.
The output voltage and current of the power supply can be controlled and read through the front operation panel of the power supply. And, this series of high voltage capacitor charging power supplies are also equipped with RS485 / DB15 / DB50 interfaces as standard. Customers can edit the control software according to our communication protocol or apply 0-10V signals and dry contact signals on the interface according to the definition of the analog interface to achieve full control and monitoring of the power supply, such as high voltage start/stop, output settings and readings.
