The world has applied artificial intelligence equipment to the field of dairy cows. This is due to a Dutch company that combines motion sensor and artificial intelligence to promote agricultural production.
After a few years of trials of artificial intelligence in Europe, Conetra brought the artificial intelligence device called IDA, the “smart dairy farmerâ€, to the United States.
IDA uses motion-sensing devices attached to the neck of the cow to transmit its motion data to a program driven by artificial intelligence.
When the sensor data is consistent with real-world activities, IDA can analyze the cow's condition when chewing, lying down, walking, drinking or eating.
These data can predict whether a cow is ill, whether productivity is declining, or whether it is ready to breed, in order to remind farmers to pay attention to these cows and take measures in advance.
