The circuit consists of an optional non-stationary multivibrator that can be used as a forward/reverse edge-triggered monostable multivibrator with retriggering and external counting options. The patch field effect transistor realizes power amplification.

Turn on the power switch Sl. When the power grid is working normally, the AC 220V voltage is reduced to 12V AC voltage by Tl, and then recharged by VD1~VD4, Cl filtered, and then the battery GB is charged. At the same time, LED1 illuminates, indicating that the inverter is in a charging state.

When the power grid abnormality causes power failure, the DC +12V voltage across the battery GB provides the working voltage for VT1 and VT2 through the primary winding of T2. After the inverter button S2 is turned on, the +12V voltage supplies the operating voltage to the CD4047 via VD5, S2 and R3, and the LED2 is lit, indicating that the inverter is in the inverter state. After the multivibrator oscillates, two low-frequency oscillating signals of opposite phase and equal amplitude are output from the 10, (11) pins of the CD4047, respectively. The signal is amplified by VT1 and VT2 (the VT1 and VT2 are alternately turned on). The AC 220V voltage is generated at both ends of the "secondary" group of T2 to supply power to the low-power electrical equipment.

The inverter power supply circuit is simple and has few external components. After being installed through the whole machine, the power can be normally operated without debugging. The device is generally used as a backup power source. When the power grid is normally powered, the inverter button S2 should be in the off state; otherwise, the S2 should be in the closed state. If you want to increase the output power of the inverter, you can increase the capacity of GB and the power of Tl and T2, and the field effect transistors are connected in parallel.

When the power is on, adjusting the resistance of the RP can change the operating frequency of the inverter output voltage.
