How will virtual reality/UAV/UAD change life?

The current global technology is rapidly evolving and has spawned a range of new technologies, such as drones, brain-aware headbands, and a range of magical devices that were previously only available in science fiction movies.

Which of these technologies will be integrated into our daily lives and change our way of life in the near future? With this in mind, we have recently consulted with entrepreneurs from the Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEC).

How will virtual reality/UAV/UAD change life?

Brain scan headband

I think the most forward-looking technology is brain scanning and brainwave sensing. Devices like Muse can sense your brainwaves and help you detect emotional state and cognitive level. In addition, it tells you when you are at rest and when you are thinking. This technology can also be used as a mind control input mechanism. Currently, you can control a sphere on your computer screen by mind. Still in the near future, people can control prosthetics, cars and computers through ideas. - Andrew Thomas (from SkyBell Doorbell)

Smart city

Some citizens may have never noticed smart cities, but hundreds of sensors have been deployed in hundreds of cities around the world to make these cities smarter. Today, these “smart cities” can track people's daily lives in real time and react quickly. These sensors provide automatic alarms, an interconnected traffic network, and climate control for the entire city. In the next few decades, the population density of cities will continue to increase, and smart cities will become an important means of improving infrastructure and maintaining urban health. - Doreen Bloch (from Poshly Inc)

Natural resources on the moon

I recently attended a technology conference in New Orleans and had the opportunity to have dinner with Naveen Jain, the co-founder of the private moon landing company Moon Express. The goal of Moon Express is to extract natural resources on the moon. This is of course an exciting mission, but Jayne also said that in addition to the mission to the moon, I hope that one day I will be able to find a cure for cancer and other diseases through Moon Express. Today, Moon Express is known for participating in the Google Lunar X PRIZE. - Kristopher Jones (from LSEO.com)

Wearable translator

An interpreter that can be hung around the neck. When the user activates, just speak to it and convert what you say into English, Chinese or Japanese. Over time, this wearable translator will also support more languages. In the future, we will also see more wearable devices, such as health tracking devices, solar clothes that can power electronic products. - Andrew Schrage (from Money Crashers Personal Finance)

Virtual Reality

I recently participated in an event organized by "charity: water". Everyone wore an Oculus virtual reality helmet during the event. I was totally immersed in an African mountain village and saw the living conditions of people there without clean water and the completely different living conditions after having a well. This time I was really moved, and I was determined to make a donation because it made me realize the importance of this fund. Currently, virtual reality (VR) is still in the early stages of development. I believe that it will become a disruptive technology in the future. - Mark Krassner (from Expectful)

Mobile devices

In the past few years, the biggest change in the technology market has been the shift to mobile devices. Today, the status of mobile devices is growing, and this trend will continue for the foreseeable future. Future technologies, those that can truly change the world, will be technologies that can use finger touches to solve larger problems. Oisin Hanrahan (from Handybook)

Cicret Bracelet Smart Bracelet

With the Cicret Bracelet smart bracelet, you can project your smartphone onto your wrist. Cicret Bracelet is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth and is worn on the wrist. It can use the skin on the wrist as a screen and then project the smartphone interface onto the skin. The user can directly click on the mobile phone interface projected on the skin to operate, even under water. You can open a variety of apps, play games, watch videos, and in fact you can do anything you can do on your phone, or even make a call directly on your wrist. Cicret Bracelet is still in the prototype stage, which means that almost any object can be used as a screen in the future (by projection). - Marcela De Vivo (from Brilliance)

Drone

The drone will subvert the delivery of small parcels. In the future, when you open the window, you may see an unmanned family flying in different directions. This will no longer be a scene in a science fiction movie. On the one hand, drones will greatly reduce delivery costs and deliver parcels at a faster rate. This also drives online sales growth. On the other hand, as time goes by, physical department stores will become obsolete, because you can buy them online and deliver them in a few minutes through drones. - Obinna Ekezie (from Wakanow.com)

Facial recognition software

One of the most promising technologies I have heard recently is facial recognition. As the most reliable security technology available today, it can also replace signatures or passwords. In the future, facial recognition technology will be deployed in banks, retailers, and home computing. It will make the world a safer place, and I look forward to the early arrival of this day. - Brandon Stapper (from 858 Graphics)

HoloLens

HoloLens is one of the most promising technologies launched this year. In the near future, the computer screen in the home will become a redundant product; we can project a screen anywhere in the home and then interact with it using holographic glasses. All social networking sites will also make adjustments to 3D content. In the end, the cinema may be completely eliminated. Piyush Jain (from SIMpalm)

Zero UI (Zero UI)

People who have used Siri, Google Now or Amazon Echo have already experienced zero UI. With more advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, we are close to having a natural conversation with the computer. The next step is to integrate more deeply with other services, allowing us to easily order or book a doctor. - Nafis Zebarjadi (from Medicast)

Self-driving electric car

Electric vehicles will reduce human and environmental costs. This car is safer and more efficient. Among them, the self-driving electric car also allows people to do other things while in the car. At the same time, autonomous vehicles can also spawn other services. For example, autonomous driving teams. In addition, the autopilot feature allows you to rent a car to pick up other people at work and let the car pay for its own expenses. - Todd Medema (from FabriceIO) (Compile / Tan Burn)
