Because the system automatically uses the DI register to open the instance data block when calling FB, usually the DI register is also called the background data block register. If you do not use OPNDI to open the data block in FB, you can use DIW to access the background data block. A word variable, so it is best not to use the DI register to open other data in the FB, otherwise the parameter access is confusing.
In short, seeing DIW is not necessarily the background data block to access, depending on whether it is used in FB, whether OPNDI is used to open other data blocks, and there is no difference between DB register and DI register in FB.
